There's no doubt in my mind that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will play an important role in people's lives in the future, just like any other important technological milestones: personal computers, the internet, LCD monitors, peer-to-peer, mobile computing (smartphones), social media, and even cloud services (as much as I dislike it), streaming and many more. AI is like the next logical step in the advancement of technology… but it's not ready for prime time. The AI we have today are half-baked… even fake. The fact that services using AI still really on humans to "train" them to get things right or to accompany them to ensure "safety" (yet still didn't stop a fatality from happening) mean it's not ready for real-world application. Headlines exaggerate articles on AI-related products or services, only to reveal in the story heavy involvement of individuals in the field to ensure it does what it's supposed to do.
